So I've tweaked some of the lines, and added a base color so I can begin adding definition.

So the more I looked at the initial sketch, the less pleased I was, so I started by repositioning the head to make it more anatomically possible, then I played with the cape. I'm going to try to emphasize the more exaggerated "boogey-man" aspect of the Batman.

It all starts with a sketch. I'm not using any particular comic or image for reference here like I usually do. I want this one to be have a unique style. We'll see how it goes.

HST - Final

I finally got around to finishing the HST piece. I'm really pleased with it. I didn't try to reach the realism like I did with the John Locke piece.
